Elg

The winter with all the snow can be hard on the animals in the wood. But this elg-cow and her calf seemed to be in good shape and enjoyed the morning sun.

Normannsslepa

In the middelage, if you wanted to go from the south-east of Norway over to the west-coast of Norway you could follow the Nordmannsslepa. This is a kind of trail over the mountain Hardangervidda . Still you can follow the old trail and smell the air of historie ! Walk in the footprints of bishop Askjell who sometime between 1226 - 1254 crossed the mountain . And where thousand of Norwegian traders has walked after him . And you can start the walk in Veggli. But... I would advise you to go in summer....
