Easter

Many people think this is the perfect easter-holliday. Mountain, snow, sun and skiing !

Happy Easter!

Today is Easter Sunday, and it is an official flag day in Norway. Here you can see a flag outside the main entrance of the retirement home in Rollag, which is located in Veggli. I was there to visit my grandmother today. :o)

Mountain dairy

During the nigth there have been a huge change over! We woke up to winter wonderland today, and sun from a blue sky. No clouds in sight. So, off we go to the mountain again! :o)

This mountain dairy belongs to a friend of mine. It is not really in Rollag, but only a few kilometers into another municipality though, so I use this picture anyway. Notice the pile of snow at the right side of the picture. It is a house under there too! ;o)

Never ending story...

We have got a whole lot of more snow since yesterday, and it's still snowing heavily. The weather report tells us that it will be snowing all day. Spring seems very far away right now...

More snow

The beautiful Easter-weather has left us, and there are no sign of spring yet. Only more snow! A great day to stay inside, though. ;o)

Late skiing

Me and my cousin went out skiing late this afternoon, just before dusk. The sun went down, the moon showed up, and the sky became very nice and red, for a while...until dark! But we came home safe, even though we did not see very much in the end. ;o)

Snow

It has been snowing a lot in Rollag this winter. A lot of cabins are covered up like this one.

Easter Holiday

Most of the people in Norway have this week off, because of the Easter holiday. It is very common to spend this week skiing in the mountains.
